BIRD TREKS
PHILOSOPHY
Our goal at BIRD TREKS is to provide you with a quality, enjoyable, professionally organized birding experience, to beautiful and exciting destinations, all at a reasonable and affordable price. Our tours are designed to satisfy the needs of all types of birders, from the brand new bird watcher to the seasoned veteran. Please don't be shy if you are just beginning to learn about birds. People with birding knowledge and experience take great pleasure in helping to guide you and point you in the right direction. Helping others is one of the great joys of birding. Our web site describes our company and the tours that we conduct. Information that accompanies the tour schedule includes highlights & favorite species lists from previous tours, detailed day-by-day itineraries, and photos that relate to each tour. We have included checklists from previous tours with some of our listings and hope to have all of the checklists available in the coming months. We still have plenty of room on our ADAK ISLAND tours in May. All three weeks are guaranteed to go. The following tours are also guaranteed to go in the coming months: MAINLAND ALASKA, CHURCHILL MANITOBA, RANCHO NATURALISTA, Costa Rica, and CLASSIC KENYA. Tours that need just one more person include the GASPE PENISULA, WASHINGTON'S Pacific Northwest, and MONHEGAN ISLAND MAINE. Please contact the Bird Treks office to inquire about these and many other destinations. In addition we offer information about your tour leaders and some specifics such as where we stay and the type of equipment and transportation we use. We provide printable forms that allow you to register for the tour of your choice. Please call, fax, write, or e-mail with any questions that you may have.

Barn Owls are distributed throughout much of the world. These two were photographed in what is locally known as the cotton shed near Portal Arizona, by Jim & Deva Burns/Natural Impacts.
Bob - We had another superb trip w/ Kevin and Stephen. Incredible
looks at everything, a good group, good lodgings, it was really fun.
I ran into a friend at our Massachusetts Audubon sanctuary today who
said he would like his next trip to be to Kenya; I told him about Bird
Treks and particularly the guides, and said that I would have you put
him on your mailing list and send him the 2008 brochure. Thanks, Bill
